Weltax/Rheinmetall (sometimes as Welta) 6x6 German Folder See my other classic folders for sale on my other auctions! This camera comes in a body that is labeled as Welta or Rheinmetall, but the model is known as a Weltax, which is a simplified version of the Welta Weltur. The Weltax has a simple finder above the camera and two red windows in the back to read the film count for medium format film. The button for these windows is missing, just a screw remains to adjust the window covers. Lens is an excellent condition coated Meyer-Optic Trioplan 1:3,5/75mm in a Prontor-S shutter that is stuck. It worked just a little while ago and now won t budge. So it needs to be CLA d, given some maintenance. Bellows are dusty, but still appear supple and smell of leather. I never tested this camera with film. Body covering is peeling off and missing in some places. Shipping only in the USA. International bidders can email me for an arrangement but delivery with insurance is expensive, I will not take responsibility for lost articles without insurance and don t want negative feedback as a result. That s why I ship primarily within the USA.
